i actually haven't synced most of my changes, so people for the past year or something will think the site isn't going to update (who is thinking that? lol)

i had a bad time with an interviewer who i gave some of my html and sass work said to me "i could find your personal stuff if i wanted" (!?!) at a very prominent company, and one i admired a lot... anyway, it creeped me out so much i dropped the interview process. i was kinda amazed i got there in the first place, so it was depressing that it ended like that

pulled the site down for a while just to give myself peace of mind but the project has been very much active! sorting the midis has been a huge pain in the ass, ha, but i've been trying to work on the aesthetics and functionality of the site too to keep myself going

so far i've got:

  • collapsible menus in the nav
  • auto-generating archive page with pagination
  • auto-generating nav with sections
  • nav keeps checkboxes checked if the active page is a child
  • proper hover highlighting for the submenus
  • any post categories auto-generate into the sidebar now and get capitalised and shit
  • fixed the orbit of the moons to be staggered (i want a more complicated orbit, but i need to make sure the maths works out so that the animation doesn't jitter when it finishes, and this requires too much of me haha)

to do:

  • randomise the delay of the background movement and the moons (so it generates based on page)
  • make a better post layout
  • finish the midi author page
