It's been a long time getting this MIDI collection together!

I'm not done, because I'm finally pulling my ass together to make a combined .xls sheet of the track name, cue numbers, MIDI type, etc. So, we're still a ways off from a few different milestones that I need to reach someday:

  • identifying the MIDIs i have
  • identifying what's missing
  • labelling it all
  • putting it all online.

This is actually SO hard because some MIDIs have no metadata in them at all, meaning I now have the Sailor Moon soundtrack drilled into my head. That was a lot more fun when I was 10 years old. Now, I feel like a hero for doing it; Takanori Arisawa was good, but he wasn't "the same track 100 times" good. Also, some authoritative collections (which I'm grateful for) mislabel some tracks. And I keep finding obscure alpha or beta versions of Bomi Lee's works, meaning I end up with like 4 or 5 of the same track!

Which is fine! But fuck!

It's been at least 4 years of me rooting around for these MIDIs, and honestly a decade prior to that of bemoaning their loss. In other words, a long time coming.
